Mechanical Design Engineer

Growing Manufacturing Company in Greenwood, MS has a need for a Sr Product Design Engineer.
This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package and relocation.
Lead a team of engineers and designers through the Product Development Process.
o Utilize sound project management tools for the execution of the project.
o Drive usage of modeling, analysis and simulation tools in the design process for optimization and robustness.
o Use or improve the standard work in the Product Development Process.
o Provide expertise in materials, processes or analysis.
o Work with manufacturing/suppliers to document technical aspects of components and interaction of designs within manufacturing and assembly.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple complex projects, and rapidly adapt/respond to changes in environment and priorities.
o Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
o Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, initiative, and a commitment to work assignments.
o Willingness to see project through to completion with creativity and innovation.
o Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
o BS in Engineering o 3-10 years of product design experience.
o Proven project leadership experience preferred.
o Must be proficient in 3D parametric CAD system.
o Advanced experience with applications including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
